Weaving for me is a Zen-like experience. It is focus and concentration that bring my senses alive. The feel of the yarn as it passes through my fingers. The sound of the weft yarn as it passes through the warp yarn - than then the sound of the heddle as it snaps into place first up and then down - each time with a clack. And then there are the colors that intermix and become a treat for my eyes as a new piece progresses along.
